You get www.mysite.weebly.com instead of www.mysite.com . This makes a big difference. A free site only gives you a limited amount of resources. The designs are limited. You may even have ads on your site that you can control. You may even wake up one morning and find that your site is gone. Along with all the work youve put into it.

The first thing you need as you get your web host is your domain name. A dot com or a dot net is the first preference. You could also consider a dot org or dot info, but I prefer the first two. If you are having difficulty because your name is taken, try adding something small before or after your choice. For example you want www.mymusic.com and its taken, try www.mymusicsite.com, or www.mymusicrocks.com or even www.blogmymusic.com . These are just examples, but I think you get the idea.
